Why is Tejaswi’s name linked to NEET paper leak?
The name of a person named Pradeep Kumar has come up in the NEET exam scam. The name of former Bihar Deputy CM Tejashwi Yadav has come up in the media testimony about this. Pradeep Kumar is the caretaker of the guest house from where the strings of this NEET scam have been found to be connected. To understand how Tejashwi’s name has come up in the scam, it is necessary to understand an important thing.
Actually, there is a candidate named Anurag Yadav who appeared in the NEET exam. Anurag’s uncle is Sikandar Yadavendu, who is a government employee. Sikandar’s name is included among the masterminds of the entire NEET scam. Paper leak mastermind Amit Anand has also confessed that Sikandar had talked to him regarding the paper leak. It is alleged that Sikandar talked to a person named Pritam for a room in the guest house.
The Pritam being referred to here is none other than the personal secretary of former Bihar Deputy CM Tejashwi Yadav. According to the claim, Pritam had called caretaker Pradeep to book a guest house room. Pradeep is the caretaker of the government guest house opposite Patna airport. He booked the guest house room for 4 and 5 May, in which candidate Anurag was staying.
What did Deputy CM Vijay Sinha say?
Bihar Deputy CM Vijay Sinha said, “The officials of the road construction department look after the guest house. We have obtained the information. Information has come about the people who were staying in the guest house that on May 1, a call was received from Tejashwi Yadav’s PS Pritam’s mobile at 9.07 pm on the number of NHAI officer Pradeep Kumar to book a room. Then on May 4, in the morning, a call was made to Pradeep Kumar’s mobile for booking the room.”
Sinha has shared the call details and WhatsApp messages of Tejashwi’s PS Pritam and the guest house staff with the media. Currently, after the initial investigation, three people including caretaker Pradeep have been suspended.
